Phone Setup
Use the information in this topic to help set up a Phone Type record in netFORUM.
- Phone Type
- The type of phone number as it relates to the customer.
Example: business phone number, cell phone number, home phone.
To Set Up a Phone Type:
- Go to the Customer Setup page.
- Click the Phone tab, if it is not already selected.
- On the phone type child form, click the Add button.
- In the Add - Phone Type window, enter the phone type.
- Click Save.
Note: The key field on the child form is a GUID used in the system option values.
The Phone Type drop-down list is located where in netFORUM?
- In the CRM module, click the Individual or Organization group items.
- Select the Add Individual or Add Organization group item links.
- The Add page will display.
- The (Phone) type drop-down list is located on both panels of the Address Information section.
Note: On the Add Individual page, the (phone) type drop-down list is for reference only. The actual phone/fax numbers are linked to the organization field and are controlled by the phone/fax linking drop-down lists.
